In our first quarter of a century, The Shakespeare Center has:
Become a cherished summer tradition for thousands of Angelenos;
Collected more than a million pounds of food for the hungry in our community through the Food for Thought program;
Served hundreds of LAUSD teachers by offering accredited workshops to help invigorate the teaching and learning of Shakespeare in the classroom;
Increased the GPA, standardized test scores and graduation rate for local inner-city students, many of whom live at or below the poverty level (download our 2008 Impact Report;
Been recognized by Harvard Project Zero in their study Qualtiies of Quality: Excellence in Arts Education and How to Achieve It with our flagship education program, Will Power to Youth
