MEET OUR VETERAN LEADERS

The Veterans in Art Leadership Team supervises a cohort of at least 30 new veteran recruits who receive wage paying on-the-job training and transitional employment internships.   Recruits are introduced to all areas of theatrical production including scenic construction, lighting, sound, costumes, props, audience services, site management, and marketing.  Recruits work alongside Veterans In Art Leadership Team Squad mentors who guide them through their paid internships and ensure a successful employment experience.

The Platoon Leader directly supervises and supports our Squad Leaders and oversees the performance of new recruits.  The Platoon Leader provides direction and leadership in planning, training, mentoring and supporting the administrative and logistical needs of the Squad Leaders.

The Squad Leaders provide direct leadership to new recruits, maintain and enforce accountability in their assigned squad and ensures their squad personnel is prepared for assignments. The Squad Leaders assist the Platoon Leader in planning, coordinating and supervising activities to accomplish goals.
