This summer, in response to the current pandemic, the two-week Los Angeles Shakespeare Institute will be offered instead as an intensive, two-day workshop focused on aspects of King Lear.

Classes during the two-day online workshop emulate the structure of our usual two-week institute: Voice & Movement, Classroom Pedagogy; Improvising & Devising Shakespeare; Scene Study; Text Analysis; and work on the Sonnets and Staging Shakespeare. Each hour and fifteen- minute session concentrates on one task, learning objective or outcome. Tuition for the two-day program (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Saturday & Sunday) is $50.00.
