Volunteer
We welcome all interested volunteers, interns, or students ages 16 and older. Some areas of need are listed below. Please contact us by filling in the form below outlining the area you are most interested in or calling 213-481-BARD (2273). Volunteers who work a total of 40 hours will earn free tickets to certain shows!
We currently only offer an internship program during the summer and this is conducted through the Los Angeles County Arts Commission Internship in the Arts program. These interviews are conducted in April-May. Please check out the LACAC site for more information.
Volunteer Areas
Administration: General office support, data entry and lookup, grant writing and research, filing, and other projects too varied to mention here.
Box Office: Ticket sales to the public during the run of the summer festival (June. - August). One day a week from 10am - 4pm (Mon - Fri).
Marketing/Press: Press release and PSA writing and submission, graphic design, social media, press kit development.
Production: Creation of sets, props, and costumes; light and sound board operation. Positions require NO previous experience - we will teach you everything you need to know.
